The Fourth Sunday of Eastertide

This coming Sunday will be the Fourth Sunday of Eastertide. The lectionary moves us toward the study of the identity and function of Christ in our lives. This week we will hear about Jesus as the Good Shepherd from the Gospel of John and read again those classic words of comfort and encouragement from the 23rd Psalm.

You can find all the lectionary readings for Sunday at:

The service for April 25th will be pre-recorded and delivered to you by email Sunday morning.

Starting in May, however, we will begin meeting outdoors, in person, under the pavilion. The session and worship committee are so excited to offer this to you. As the situation with Covid is still evolving, we too will be responsive to the circumstances as details are studied by our covid care team. Until further notice, we will worship in person, outdoors. The service will also be streamed by Zoom and posted later in the day to our website: epcnashville.com

Meeting outdoors and following local and CDC guidelines, we can worship and keep each other safe. In the case of extreme weather, we will make a same-day decision and communicate to you all by email.

As one elder put it, “We are craving to connect with each other and to be together again as we connect to God.” This sentiment truly guides us as a community: connecting to God, connecting to each other.

Peace Be with You–

Jane
