Christmas Eve Service

Service starts at 5pm, gathering at the front of the church with masks on and social distancing.

Three Fire Pits will be prepared at several yards apart, each fire tended by an assigned person at all times.

Groups of 5 -8 people will be led from one fire pit to the next.

At each fire pit station the “fire keeper” will read a portion of the nativity story, dismissing with a short prayer, and the group will then proceed to the next fire pit.

At the third fire pit, the group will be dismissed to holiness of the night for the coming of the Christ child with Christmas morning.

The experience will be brief, quiet, contemplative, and above careful to implement all personally protective measures to prevent any viral spread.
