VBS coming Sunday, September 19th. Starting right after worship til 5:15 pm.
Open to ages from 3 to 17. Fun filled, action packed, learn, think, play, do.
Lunch and Snacks included.
Each participant needs to bring long pants, tennis shoes & water bottle.
Everyone is invited to join us as we wrap up the fun and share what we have learned about God’s gifts and our responsibilities. 4:15 – 5:15 for activity #8 and closing remarks

July 31– EPC hosts American Red Cross for a blood drive from 2p – 6p
August 2 – Building Improvements Committee meeting (every 1st Sunday)
August 6 --Presbytery meeting at Bellevue Presbyterian Church. The dates of meetings being held to prepare for this are noted in the Christian Education section under the Visioning Team information.
Aug 9 -- Mission/Fellowship meeting (every 2nd Sunday)
Aug 9 – Bridal Shower for Mollie and Emery Marshall
Aug 31 – Jane’s last day before sabbatical

Needed – any size rinsed out tin cans. Please put in box outside children’s classroom.
There is a sign-up chart on the community bulletin board that has spaces to sign up for flowers beside the Lord’s Table. These can be to honor loved ones, special days or religious events. See Sue for more details.

Assorted donations:
The blankets and other assorted supplies donated by the congregation was donated to Maple Village.
The various food items were put in the food pantry box outside of Apex Bank in Fairview.
Red Cross Blood Drive:
We have 5 donors signed up for the Blood Drive, set for 7/31 – 2-6 pm. THANK YOU DONORS!
3 of them are for double red donations and will count as 2 donations!
We still have a way to go to get enough donors to make this blood drive successful.
Please sign up to donate if you can, and if you can’t please tell your friends, family and others about the blood drive.
Roots Ministries/Roots Urban Farm:
The plastic clamshell containers that were donated have been delivered to Roots Ministries (Nate Hale – operator)
I thank you, he thanks you and He thanks you!
They will be used for delivering fresh grown produce to their neighbors in need.
We are continuing to collect them so please bring your clean containers to the children’s classroom.
East Hickman Intermediate School/Oasis:
Our next goody bag assembly for East Hickman/Oasis will be in late September/early October
Please remember this ministry when planning your charitable giving.
Put “Oasis/East Hickman” in the memo line of any donation checks.
GraceWorks:
Food give-away July 18 at Fairview Middle School starts at 8 am til food runs out.
Individuals are welcome and encouraged to help if schedule permits.
